Americans for the Arts is committed to centering the priorities and perspectives of our members at our 2025 Convention through the creation of a Member Committee. 
Americans for the Arts received nearly 100 applications from members across the county for our 2025 Convention Member Committee. The impressive group of applicants was narrowed down to these thirteen committee members by Americans for the Arts and ArtsWave staff. Applicants were selected both for their credentials and the unique perspective they could bring to the group based on their location, personal background, and lived experience. We are proud to say that this diverse group of individuals features representation from every Regional Arts Organization’s geographic area, as well as every part of the local arts ecosystem, both public and private, from artists to teachers to arts administrators. We are grateful for everyone who applied and are excited to continue to work alongside our membership as we plan this Convention. This committee is tasked with developing the proposal application and recruiting and selecting presenters for the breakout sessions at the 2025 Convention.
